I have Barchart watchlist/portfolio set up but the volume is not accurate.

I also have links set up to the WSJ individual stock pages to get the volume and dividends as needed but that will require a copy and paste of individual numbers so it will take a lot more time. Firefox is the best browser I have found for doing copy and paste directly from the web pages. Otherwise, with other web browser, we often have to type the numbers into our spreadsheets. Of course, if anyone is doing this in a notebook as you are, Cheif, then manual entry is the only way anyway, but more susceptible to errors.

I am working on Yahoo Finance to set up a watchlist. Hawk apparently has it working but is uncertain whether it will work with just a free account. It might take another day before we know if we can make it work for free. What we do know is that yahoo has accurate volume data when downloaded to a .csv file. We have already back-tested that.

We are just hoping that we can get it to work without paying for another website subscription. This may take two or three days to work out the details but I think we will be able to run the numbers tonight, even if it does take a little longer.
