I guess I was somewhat surprised by your response to George E.:

"Did you really think CyberFax and WorldPass had a monopoly?"

Frankly, I guess I was naive enough to think CyberFax really did have an edge others didn't.

However, from the excerpt from the Justice Technology PR which follows, it appears CyberFax has some rather formidable competition in the Nortel MICOM Gateway. Following the excerpt are two links to more information on the MICOM product.

I agree there is plenty of room for competition and I think what Justice has done with respect to internet faxing, worldwide callback, establishing gateways in strategic locations, using proprietary networks once through the gateways, etc. essentially validates what DCI is currently attempting to put in place. So from the "validation" aspect, I think this information is extremely positive. From the Nortel MICOM competition aspect, however, I feel it's negative in that we may not have the one year lead we thought and because Northern Telecom's MICOM equipment is extremely reputable with a powerful marketing and supporting infrastructure already in place.

Excerpt from Justice Technology PR:

"Using the Nortel MICOM Phone/Fax IP Gateway, companies and ISPs can send voice calls as IP packets over the Internet to Justice Internet gateways in Los Angeles; Santiago, Chile; or Antwerp, Belgium. Justice will then bill, authenticate and terminate the voice or fax call over its proprietary network, which services more than 180 countries on five continents. Call costs are reduced because international calls are terminated using U.S.-based networks. Much like the principle behind callback, international customers essentially pay U.S. rates, the lowest in the world, to call the rest of the world."
