I could be wrong about this and i am no tax expert but I believe that there are changes in depreciation that make it more advantageous for billionaires to own sport teams. purchased a small position in non value stock circle, after listening to the ceo on bloomberg. seems like a company that I want to own long term and I will take the 10% discount from yesterday. i read the transcript of HHH conference call. not surprised the stock moved up 10%. they had a great quarter and according to Ackman they have identified an insurance company to acquire , came to terms, and are now just doing final due diligence and expect to make substantive announcement in the next 4 months if I understood correctly.
