Ali, Etrade tends to move up with optimism of future potential earnings. Every time their server goes down and Ameritrade advertises like there is no tomorrow, Etrade will suffer. Etrade has changed much since I first followed the company. They have seemed to be more of a backdrop instead of proactive in being a leader in this online trading. I see less news about them, and I seem to hear many complaints from people who are about to give up with them. I think earnings will be good for Etrade due to the bull market still intact, but I think they could do much better considering they are the leaders in OL trading. For example every review I've seen of Etrade has been poor at best. Many investors have less conviction on how well Etrade is growing in this competitive environment. Not to say that will not change down the road since Etrade does have an ability to get the ball back rolling again.

Ali,

I got out of this stock a long time ago. Unfortunately I did not get my accounts out at the same time. Am working on that now.

Good luck to you if you are long on E*Trade, but, I would not recommend them as an on-line broker.
