By the way, the Pirates insist they’re not trading Skenes, and he denied a report that said he wanted to be traded to the Yankees. Stand down.
And I deny being the anonymous source that Skenes denied talking to... and therefore I deny my role in being a conduit to publicly alert the Yankees that perhaps they could make a play for Skenes. In fact, I deny even posting an article a few minutes ago claiming that Skenes denied talking to an anonymous source.

Instead, we need to focus on what the Yankees should give up to get Skenes since we all know he wants to play in NY and the Yankees would love to have him. :)

I believe that Soto is the 3rd finalist. Therefore, it's guaranteed to be a DH, as Soto is a DH who is playing RF (and not all that well, based on what I saw of him with the Yankees in 2024!!!)
