That is a real life Wow-worthy scene that could have been in the series For All Mankind. For anyone who doesn't know, that is one of the best TV series I've seen. It is both creative and realistic. Realistic because the people and events (mostly) map to real people and events and how they played out. Creative, because the outcomes are different and ripple through time. The basic premise of the story is that NASA misses a launch window and Russians land on the moon first. As a result, the space race between US and USSR continues with broad sociopolitical ramifications.
