Trump is going out of his way to block the release of those Epstein files. He even tried to force Lauren Boobert and Nancy Mace into voting against the release by pulling them into the "Situation Room," which only highlights how desperate he is. There are three possibilities here, one or more of which may be simultaneously true: Trump actually participated in criminal activity. Trump's ego can't tolerate any association with a completely toxic name like Jeffrey Epstein. Trump is under pressure by his closest allies to keep the files hidden. I think it's a combination of #2 and #3, with a non-zero chance of #1 being true as well. Tenchusatsu
