Abstract from Infobeat on NN: Newbridge Networks Corp. (NN) Late yesterday, NEWBRIDGE NETWORKS CORP posted 3Q numbers that were as dismal as it earlier predicted. Newbridge said the expected shortfall came from a sharp drop in sales of its older, highly profitable time division multiplexer (TDM) networking technology, partly due to economic volatility in Asia. Newbridge's Chief Financial Officer Ken Wigglesworth told reporters in a conference call that the results were "disappointing" but officials have already forecast better TDM sales in the fourth quarter.
