IIRC, she died a mooching looter trying to stave off not the morality, but rather the inevitability, of death.

Ayn might not have been a sociopath, and that is far from certain, but she certainly admired them. Her main characters often had strong, sociopathic tendencies and were glorified for them.

Not to mentioned, self-important assholes with an overblown sense of entitlement.

Her "morality" was basically seeking justifications for anti-social behavior, no matter how petty.

I can see why a MAGAt would worship her, though.
