That is why I think the use of stock for expansion purposes makes some sense particularly now at these levels. It will raise the market cap and also possibly if done right make this company even more interesting.

Wade, you are a fund manager, you hold 100,000 shares of THQ, you decide to sell tomorrow, all of it in one day. But the average volume is 300,000 shares per day. Pretty hard to do without causing a free fall in the stock price. But if there are more shares in circulation then there will be greater trading volume which makes excuting trades in a tight price range a lot easier. Yes, the value of the outstanding shares plays an important role, but how do small caps become large caps? As their business and profits grow so does the number of shares outstanding as they keep issuing more shares and/or spliting as they grow, much like the money supply and the economy. The key is the company needs to continue to grow it's revenue each quarter.
