First, take a deep breath. God is still in charge. No matter what people say online, no matter what rumours pop up on the internet, God hasn’t stepped aside or taken a vacation. He’s not surprised. He’s not worried. He’s not pacing back and forth in Heaven. And neither do you need to. Sometimes grown-ups tell spooky stories because they get excited or nervous. Just like when children tell ghost stories at camp, adults invent stories about secret bases, hidden cities, and scary “bad guys” controlling everything. Most of it is just noise and imagination, the way kids fill in the dark corners of a room with monsters. When too many things happen in the world at once, our minds try to connect the dots, even the dots that don’t belong together. That’s normal. That doesn’t mean the dots are real. It just means your brain is trying to find patterns to feel safe. And all these old rulers, politicians, “elites” you’re talking about? Most of them can barely manage their own schedule. They’re not masterminds sitting in a secret moon-base lair pushing buttons. Think of them like tired old teachers who can’t even keep track of the crayons anymore. Evil exists, yes. But God keeps it on a leash. There’s no shadow army plotting in the basement of the White House. There’s no frozen alien kingdom under Antarctica waiting to rise up. Sometimes life is messy because people are selfish or confused—not because there’s a giant puppet master. When you feel overwhelmed, go back to what is real and simple: The sun came up today. God didn’t move. Most of the world is just ordinary people trying to get through the day. And every big “scary” thing on the internet gets smaller the moment you shine real light on it. You don’t need to worry about what’s under the ice or inside the moon. You only need to worry about what’s inside you: your peace, your heart, your faith, your steadiness. If I were sitting with you in an office as your therapist, I’d gently say: Let’s keep your feet on the ground, your mind in the present, and your trust in God, not in the imagination of strangers on the internet.
