There's a lot of doom talk surrounding AI. Job losses. Then worst case: extinction. But what about this: we already have our share of hacking and identity theft ... maybe the dark side of AI will really be hacking attacks on steroids ...big point-of-sale or other critical commerce infrastructure impacted? I'm sure by now the surveillance state is using to identify threats. AI being what, 78% reliable, may inadvertently vilify the innocent? Of course, in the hands of politicians and weaponized... more ways to cover tracks of the truly guilty?
