I don't mind a company repricing options that are company-wide
where ANY employee puts in, say, 5-10% of their salary. To reprice
options granted to management (supervisors and up) is, I believe
a mistake. Many times these are purchased with a company loan,
which is enough of a perk. To allow repricing on stock that is
worth hundreds of millions of dollars to people THAT ARE IN
CONTROL
of a company's fortunes and have prior knowledge to
time their buys and sells is just asking for trouble.
