I have been using it on a quad monitor workstation running Thinkorswim for some time now, it just runs and I have had no problems. Keep in mind I basically run a few applications on it.

On the other hand, my wife hates it. She has had problems with simple stuff like screen capture, and hates how they force you to save files 'their way', using stuff like OneDrive. I would consider her a better indicator as she is a much more intense user of the software. She had to do a lot of research on how to turn all their cloud stuff off and save files she uses with Office in folders she wants. She told me she has seen similar complaints on many forums that she ran across during her research.

John covers both sides well at Message 35335358

I'll add I HATED W11 at first because it didn't let me have one click "toolbars" to get quickly to files or programs or web sites" based on the task name of the folder. I have some workarounds that eventually work just about as well but it still pisses me off.

Also, I like to keep my active files backed up on Google Cloud so I can access them via my phone but I do keep my much larger email, video and image files on One Drive with the 1 TB that comes with Office 365. This seemed to give Copilot problems but it can't seem to move files between applications with the time I allocated to it. It was happy to build stuff from scratch, but... anyway, I went to Gemini and Grok to get done what I needed, which really doesn't help with W11.

W11 had all sorts of trouble with my older printer and all those problems went away with a new printer. Can't blame windows for HP not wanting to support their older equipment that worked great and was better built than the new stuff, but I was happy to get their printer with the ink bottles to same money to pay for the printer over giving them $100 or $150 every year for ink.

Anyway, I think it works better with drivers in new programs and web sites and when things don't work, the call in help can be lost if you have really old gear and it is driver issues.

Windows 11 is OK, but the fact that you have to use a workaround to avoid it grabbing any and all photos and saving them on their own cloud, OneDrive is something I hate. I spent an entire afternoon figuring out how to
block that. It's definitely more invasive, Microsoft in your face.
