Pocotrader, the funny thing is that, even though SI isn't directly driven by the algorithms, it still is affected by the same mentality. People tend to gravitate toward posts that have the most number of "recommendations." This is especially true in the MAGAverse, where the cultists have to deal with the fact that Trump is losing in the polls, losing in elections, and losing his grip on the economy.
