If Trump uses government money (ie US Taxpayers) do you really think no haters in Washington DC will report that immediately... or sooner and that you will likely post it faster than that? Not only will they report that he lied (as you contend), they will fabricate the lies just like the WP did with the Coast Guard if it is proven NOT to be built with donor money as planned. It will be very easy to determine and verify with so many haters out for his scalp.
