This is not correct. Other than sharing common printheads, the printers are different. The 7000 and 7200 printers are essentially equivalent but the 5700 is a new design. The 5700 is 33% faster in color draft mode. I'm not sure about speed differences in the higher quality modes. The 7200's input tray holds 50% more paper (150 sheets vs only 100 for the 5700). The 7000 series printers weigh around 9.5 lbs while the new printer only weighs around 6 lbs. The paper handling on the 5700 is much more robust than the 7000 (paper handling is perhaps the biggest difference). The 5700 is smaller in depth and height. If you are interested in comparing the 7000 and 5700 you should obtain literature directly from Lexmark or go to their web site lexmark.com .
