I took my medicine on BDE and got REALLY HEALTHY on THQI. Given my renewed health and the accompanying appetite, I'm thinking filet mignon washed down with the finest champagne the house has to offer!

Bleeker:

From the Eidos board: Traders have also made this stock a volatile one in the past and I see little reason for it to change: it's possible that EIDSY slips to the 16s (even 15s) once the glory of Q3 fades. I think THQI is now exposed to a similar risk. And both companies have a stellar line up of games, although with Daikatana, DeathTrap Dungeon, FFVII and Tomb Raider Gold, EIDSY has all around a stronger portfolio this year. I am not throwing barbs at THQI. I bought my first THQI shares in the $4s. But expectations for the company are now extremely high.

I have to disagree with you about THQ's risk and the relative strength of game line ups. Further, how do you compare each company's business plan, management, etc? The comparisons and conclusions that you draw sound a lot like the comparisons you tried to make several months ago with Midway and THQ. I don't understand it and I can't buy it.

In light of the string of earnings releases, THQI has proven to be a stellar performer with no need of a tune up and a full tank of gas. Eidos has been strong recently, but does not rank as high of a multiple as THQ.

I still believe a buy and hold (or buy and average up) strategy with THQ will be more rewarding than a similar strategy employed with Eidos. Certainly more rewarding than a similar strategy with BDE or AXC :-(

...Although, the wall of worry that you attempted to erect with THQ in the past has served me well :-)
