Germany was defeated in ww1, which led to reparations and eventually 1923 hyperinflation. US was not defeated by anyone and the prospects of that remain low, nobody wants a nuclear war. Our debts are in dollars, not in foreign currency. I guess I am saying I don’t expect a 90% drop for the US dollar unless US becomes a totalitarian regime. Never say never, the commies could rise in 2028.
