I may have been too optimistic about management rating.

But this smells like a buying opportunity to me. Of course, the guys who dumped in the last couple of days are going to make a killing.

Someone asked "Who will buy here?"

In short, me. If this stock dips below 13-14, which I think will happen, I'm going to be very tempted to buy the plunge. This isn't nearly as serious as the loss of 3Com business or other customer problems. Also, the PSR is going to look real attractive. This looks to be a one time event, and the company has a strong balance sheet, and probably has insurance if it was theft.

Unfortunately, I think the market is going to think of that other Massachusetts ECM company (CTN) and the problems they had with falsified Inventory, AR, invoices etc. The former CEO Mr. Pinez is still being held in jail with no bail pending trial.

But for bottom fishers, this could be 'manna from heaven'. Wow, I think I'd love to see 10, but don't think it will happen. Buy early in the day guys. I think the panic will subside soon.

All this is just my opinion.
Paul

The press release said

- they EXPECT the shortfall to have a material impact on
operating results, and
- it may affect full year profitability DEPENDING ON INSURABILITY.

There's no doubt here about whether there is a shortfall.
What we don't know is how much. The $6.82/sh figure is
merely the absolute maximum it could possibly/theoretically
ever be (if someone managed to abscond with ALL their
inventory from ALL their sites at once)... nobody here
thinks it will be at all close to that much.

PS) I like fixed fonts. Everything stays formatted for me. It
drives me crazy when folks post tables and don't use fixed.

James,
it looks like many people here do not think the hit will be so bad. Again, we really don't know what to expect. However, being a one time event, if it does not break the company, it may make it stronger. If that is the case, then the hit could be a buying opportunity.
However, I will personally wait until the picture is more clear,
Alfredo
