sometimes I wonder if their real job isn't to provide volatility - shares traded means commissions earned. That's the cynic in me...

Which analyst response was negative?? Was it bears reiteration of their buy rating or was it Volpe's reiteration of their strong buy. Maybe it was their pounding of the table that pushed it down. This was momentum selling and a couple of large institutions reducing exposure to a stock who's volatility far outweigh's it reward. That's all.
