sounds like bribery to me and the money is not in those accounts yet. The better use for the money is to feed hungry kids, another thing how many poor kids have bank accounts? I will bet very few. the whole thing smells of a PR move trying to boost trump's sinking popularity

Thronefish, the "Trump Accounts" are a good idea, but given the pains of implementation, I'll believe it when I see it.

For example, some of the details will have to be revised, such as the following:
  • [The child must] live in a ZIP code where the median income is $150,000 or less
There are plenty of kids born to poor families who happen to live in these "rich" ZIP codes. It's not fair to exclude them.

Those "Trump Accounts" are such a brilliant idea. Some economists are predicting the possibility of 6 figure accounts by college age for accounts handled correctly.

I hope other big corporations jump on to the ingenious idea like Michael Dell and help the future generation of needy kids out even more.

So far only the Dell contributions have a zip code income requirement. I guess Dell hates rich kids.

THANK YOU President Trump!
