Joe knows what he is doing so I would assume either a very even distribution or backloaded. Either way we know that there were still only 2 million exercised as of 12/31. This gives Joe plenty of leeway at this point. Not all the exercised shares can come to market. The actual number gets smaller as we analyze this more.

Seems to me that, no matter how many shares are being added to the stream, the problem is a lack of BUYERS. Take away AGE and where would we be right now? If there are a slew of shares waiting for various trigger dates, then they likely will dilute whatever momentum is generated between now and then. If Joe is "taking them out" before hand, that's great, but I think we have to assume that there will continue to be "discount" shares out there de-valuing our investment.

Another factor is the expectation that JM is looking to sell off the company somewhere down the road. Now he has talked about there being greater value in the parts rather than the whole, but I suspect many investors are looking towards that one big payday, and if and when it comes, THAT will spur price appreciation.

No one really knows how the market will react at any given time to any news or rumor of news, but I agree with you, i.e., I would much rather that these announcements be genuine news (to the extent that they ever really are, i.e., a surprise). No sense trumpeting the next PR as the whole puzzle, when in fact it is "merely" another piece. And that has happened. I could go back and pull up quotes and URLs, but you all know what I am talking about.

The bottomline: DCI is cooking at a slow boil. The Master Chef is tinkering with the recipe here and there, adding some ingredients while discarding others. Ultimately, however, he has pretty good idea of what he wants to put on the table. Only question for us is whether we can hold out that long.

Just the rumblings of an alligator-shoed lobbyist who hasn't had his first cup of coffee yet.
