michael and mike perez--

you both make some good points, but i think you should look at it this way. of the companies that have DMT chipsets ready to sell now, how many have deployment contracts? NONE. awre has made a lot of noise, and so has pair, but the simple fact is that the telcos that want DMT for first deployment are WAITING for the chips from MOT and TXN. they may have announced ALA, but they arent deploying a lot of ALA equipment, at least not from what i have seen.

and, for all the armchair QBs, BEL is starting out with a CAP deployment(if i remember correctly), just as USWest is, which we are more than capable of filling.

perez--hyperbole is fun and all, but PLEASE lets have some facts.

good luck to all,
trey
