To all: Its mighty darn tough to see NASDAQ reaching
two new highs this week and CPQ stuck in the mud.
I guess we can blame part of the slight pullback
today on the news from SUNW (securing 700-800 orders
for their new workstations-competing with CPQ). I'll
bet a few folks didn't really relish the report that
DEC is resorting to limiting travel, etc to make their
upcoming quarterly projections. In any event, it still
looks like CPQ is basing in the 34 to 35 buck level and
is just crying out for an upgrade or some major cost
cutting at DEC to propel it into orbit. I still think
CPQ is one of the safer plays at this juncture do to
its recent aquisition and its very short term price
stabilization. Like the Man said: put it away for
six months and se Ya at 80! WE WILL MAKE SOME $$$$!!!!!
