I suspect he'll be a one-hit wonder, like Mason Williams with Classical Gas, or the writer Daniel Keyes with the short story Flowers For Algernon. Lots of people have that one great idea in them and are lucky enough to get it out and share it -- and by "luck" I mean that circumstances don't conspire to stop them. Sometimes it's health, sometimes it's bad business partners, sometimes it's a meaningless accident.

Here's Eva Cassidy. She wasn't a one-hit wonder, there was plenty inside her waiting to come out. This was recorded at the Blues Alley Jazz Supper Club in Washington, D.C. as a planned live album (her only official live recording). She was ill with melanoma at the time and died less than a year later.

Not just a miraculous singer, but also a fine guitarist and arranger.
