Oh please, You want Carney to fight Trump with one arm tied between his back. He is one of the few world leaders who has stood up to Trump and is winning! Tell me who would have done a better job than Carney?? Who do you support? And you think he is kowtowing to Trump? That is nonsense, it is just the opposite, he is eviscerating Trump. And you mention pipelines like they are a disaster. I remember when many loony lefties felt the Alaskan pipeline would be a disaster e.g. that the animals would be hurt by it. Well, the animals love it because it warms them in the winter, and pay no attention to it otherwise, but the revenue has fed thousands of needy people! And Carney's policies are feeding millions of needy people in Canada, and he is continuing the fight against climate change, but doing it in a sensible manner. And Ironically, I was one of the few who did think Canada would be alright from the beginning with Carney at the helm, and you can ask Abuelita on SI if that is true and she lives in Canada! < Carney's main achievements so far Largely abandoning the fight against climate climate Huge curs to foreign aid Massive cuts to the civil service Massive increases to military spending Kowtowing to a wannabe dictator If that is your idea of liberal values.... Maybe it is different in the US, but in Canada and the other advanced democracies these policies put him far to the right.

Since you keep pounding this idea Carney is a right winger, let me lay some facts on you. First Carney has a 91% approval rating among liberal party, so who are all these liberals you keep talking about who think he is conservative!!? AND, Carney not only saved Canada from Trump, he saved Canada from that Trump clone MAGA clown, Polivievre. Polivievre was running 29 points ahead of the liberal party at one point, and people, thought he was a shoe in! Carney came along and won over the Canadian people, and defeated Carney. So I am not alone in my admiration of Carney, he has a 59% approval rating among Canadians, and the entire world respects him! Just look at how many countries are flooding into Canada to invest, and it is because of Carney! You seem to be in the minority with your idea Carney is a not a food leader LC.
