Paul, it's late here too but I wanted to thank you for the great post. Novell is competing against one of the nastiest companies ever and needs to act accordingly.

Btw, Joe, look at the recent action in THQI and you'll see why I'm with you--right now the money is better invested elsewhere. I did have yet another small NOVL trading position. Sold it today at 9 1/4 for all the usual FA/TA combined reasons. I still see a lot of potential here but man, there are some great stocks out there vying for one's investment dollars.

Best,
Marc

PS--short interest fell by 35% in Apple.

Paul,

I agree with you. I shorted this stock years ago, when

I had some experience with their customer support. They were

complacent back then because they had 70% of the networking

market, but I can't imagine them being so with their current

share, which I assume is down from years ago.

There was a company based out of Colorado named NBI.

It went bankrupt about 7 years ago. Back in the 1980's, NBI,

Wang, and Wordstar had about 90% of the wordprocessing market.

The rest is history.

Regards,
Dave
