I can assure you that news of the chairman's resignation did not add $1.5 billion to TXN market cap. He is a very capable leader with a vision of the future who will continue to add value as a board member. Stock up due to supply and demand, DSP potential, bull market, take your pick.

Pat I think that Adams and Weber (who have both announced retirement) were only on a short mission for Tom E.---they are both very capable leaders but that was not their role. Tom will now look like the leader he has been---this was not a force out but the culmination of a plan they all made together.
have you noticed that Kurlak was dead wrong about TI and Asia so far and he has been missing in action.
