Most people would just keep it a secret, produce PMs, get rich and live happily ever after. On the other hand, if others are also producing precious metals, then it would be only a matter of time before the world knows, so perhaps you'd want to be the first one to spill the beans to capture the fame and glory?

Joe, I think you should prove the process before you publish. Here is how you can do it. If the production cost is $30 per ounce and the capacity per day is 1000 ounces, then produce and send to me 1000 ounces of platinum and I will simultaneously forward by wire transfer $5000. This proves your process and provides you with $20 per ounce for your effort. Sounds like a deal which benefits all parties to me, What think you? I will honestly tell the results of our transaction.
