It seems clear to me that a major problem with QCOM is that it's stock price doesn't go up very much, and when it does happen to go up a decent amount it then changes it's mind and decides to go back down.

That's it in a nutshell.

The five year chart on Yahoo shows that in five years QCOM has gone from $146 to $176. That's about 20%, or up $30, in five years.

I own some COHR stock. It was $139.50 before Thanksgiving this year, and now it's about $193. That's up $53 in three weeks. That's what a stock should do, go up a lot, and then go up some more. QCOM fails in this regard, and that's too bad if you own the stock.

I could go on, but I think brevity is highly desirable.

PS - If QCOM were smart it would acquire SIMO.
