How much Omega-3 do you need to take to make a worthwhile difference? I've taken different brands of fish oil over the years, but probably never enough. I don't eat much fish.

The last bottle I got from Vitamin Shoppe (their brand) about 6 months ago was rancid and I haven't taken any fish oil since..

I use avocado oil for cooking and salads. It's supposed to be healthy, but who knows?

I posted my fish oil story here back in 2013 or 2014. I have a dry eye condition that is resolved by a quality fish oil. My eyes don't hurt when I am taking enough EPA/DHA.

Here is what I am using today. 1 large capsule provides 1000 mg EPA/DHA. I take at least three and sometimes four each day. I get this at Walmart.

I know it's working when a cut takes a long time to stop bleeding. I definitely get a blood thinning effect.
