Joachim, here is your stated position:
Regarding travel restrictions: every administration, left or right, has imposed broad security measures after terror attacks, often clumsy, sometimes unfair, but policies are not proof of personal prejudice.
So you DO support the blanket ban on all travel from Iran, but you claim that's justified after a terror attack.

The problem is that (a) there was no terror attack, and (b) the perp who shot the two National Guardsmen was from a different country.

Meanwhile, you still haven't explained to me how you would tell the difference between Iranian immigrants who are "secular Persians" vs. the Iranian immigrants who are Muslim.

Maybe you'd like to impose a religious litmus test?

Maybe you'd like to scan through their social media or other messages that any reasonable person would consider private?

I don't know what the laws are like in Canada, but here in America, all of that is completely un-American. Except for the fact that we now have a president who wants to redefine what it means to be "un-American."
