I played hockey in the rink a few times, I was a member of the BCTV Tubes, we travelled by chartered bus to 100 mile House to play the Kinsman hockey team for charity. We were treated like royalty. The first time I was ever on a snowmobile was there. First time I ate bear meat though it was in a stew was there. One of my favourite memories is of Rob Malcolm the night news anchor at the time was our honorary coach. The visitor bench had no access out unless you crossed the ice surface. we were all hung over and Rob was 3 sheets to the wind, he had to pee badly, because the boards are waist high no one in the crowd could see him piss but everyone could see the steam rising in front of him, our team laughed their heads off LOL
