Stink bids, great name... Looks like I may actually have done the right thing, I was so pissed even though a lower market gives me a better price... I began to shut down my computer and head to bed... I told my wife that the futures market is down hard but could likely move back up before I get my low priced bids that I placed... She asked me if the futures market is trading right then at the moment and I told her it was trading... She then said why not just buy a futures contract now and not fret about not getting filled in the morning... She's smarter than I am... So I put an order to buy a March contract, just one, at 6890.00, it was trading at 6894ish at the time... I figure, okay, why not try it... I use to trade only the futures but not so much today, I still have a trading account... Long story short, I got my stink bid filled at 6890.00 and now it's trading at 6898.00... So, this will teach the market to play games with me... As my role model Rodney Dangerfield said, it's not easy being me... GZ
