I was in a large FaceTime call a few days ago with fellow engineers about the energy problems here in the U.S. We are all shocked to see how Trump is taking this country backwards in the world as virtually all others are moving rapidly towards cheaper, sustainable, zero emission renewables. Some of these guys traveled with me to Australia back in March of 2020 and we toured a number of large PV systems across the country, grid scale, commercial buildings and residences. Back then 1 in 4 residences had solar on their roofs, now it's 1 in two and most of them also have storage added today. Very large farms in the remote Outback now pretty much all get their power from PV's and storage. A lot cheaper than trying to run diesel gensets 24/7/365. And vastly more reliable.
