The drinking age was 18! The irony is that I didn't drink while in college. I did my senior year when I went to bars, but not on-campus. For reference, I had my own HS graduation keg party and started drinking at 13... but never to excess. So by the time I reached college, drinking was nothing special let alone an act of rebellion. Rather, my rebellion was really just for my own amusement. My two favorite headlines about me are "Fake Paper Stuns Campus" and "More Student Activity Heads Roll". The first was legit. The second was completely fake news. It said I had been removed from my position as GM of the radio station (resulting from my all-campus brawl, err party). The truth was that the new GM always starts their term at that time... which made no sense for me as I was graduating. - Jeff
