And this bullshit that ARM is trying to pull was even worse. An existential threat should not be awarded with a business as usual settlement.

If i remember correctly the FTC vase had just wrapped up its hearing and the ruling was not announced at the time of the settlement. If qualcomm went scorched earth , intel would have never shut shop and apple would have likely continued to source from them. Fighting FTC ruling without thr apple settlement would have been hard.
