it's worse than that. You can just spend marketing dollars to flood the narrative and the LLMS are stupid and only pick up on repetition and not value. so you can write 100 bad articles versus one with truth and the 100 will win. so spin works. spin garbage and teh model gets garbage. also it is far easier and cheaper to sway the LLMs than it is to get a majority of humans to believe. the old rules were write 100 articles and hope that enough rumor mill gets around, Now write 100 hit articles and influence teh llms and get the other effect for free.
