The WSJ article did not mention the miriad of (frivilous?) law suits. It is good that those points in the article
have been discuss in much more details here.

Re: WSJ article

>>>-- Nomai SA, a French company, is trying to sell a Zip-compatible disk drive at 30% less than the price of Iomega's, forcing Iomega to pay stiff legal bills in its effort to keep the product off the market. It could see revenue plunge should those legal efforts fail.<<<

After reading this little reminder (right or wrong), and if tomorrow we see any negative news from the Nomai court case, things could quickly sour. This morning I might try a short-term bear play. Seems to me there's more downside risk than upside for the moment.

RE: ***OT*** Cockamamy

Linda and all,

This just came in from my wife Nan, who obviously doesn't
have enough to do at work today:

>According to Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, the word
>is English dialect "cockamamy" and means ridiculous or
>incredible.

She sends her regards to all of you on the thread. I tell
her about all the, uh, more colorful things that transpire
here.

Cheers, Tom (long IOM)
