THE WEEK IN PICTURES: IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS EDITION There was news this week: the administration seized a Venezuelan oil tanker in the Caribbean, the Ukraine war continued, Minnesota taxpayers were bilked out of millions more, and so on. But in truth, things are slowing down. The holidays are just around the corner: hence this week’s theme. So we will start with some Christmas memes, and then on to the news and more. One quick note, however: despite the suggestion of one or two of this week’s memes, “Die Hard” is not a Christmas movie! The action could just as easily have taken place on the eve of Valentine’s Day, or anything else. Got that, Steve?
