Ten I don't know anyone who owns a Tesla so I have no idea if they are reliable or not. Its the hate that car gets now that would keep me from owning one also I do not want to support a person I dislike. Musk is attacking Europe because Tesla sales are tanking but that's on him, using a Nazis salute as well as the crap he says will not win you many friends

I'm still not convinced that the car won't "brick" on me like a handheld device could.

That was a very serious problem for the original Tesla Roadster.

But not in successive Tesla's and all other BEV's manufactured today.

A separate battery runs all of the control electronics and is charged from the main hv battery pack.

There is more than ample time and warning before you would ever get into a "bricked condition".

Not a concern at all today.

There are many many warnings that happen miles and miles before you would ever run out of juice.

Unless you are an idiot of course!

Especially as the MCU is telling you where to get a charge along the way...
