Yes, I like the look of those Rivians. We see one almost every day around here. I am also seeing a few of those Lucid Gravity around. Very nice design in my. opinion.

Finally.... The neighbor has a Cadillac Lyric EV. We rode in it several times and it is very comfortable and smooth. Better than his previous Tesla Model S.

Re: Rivian will be my first choice.

I have a Rivian, an R1S. One of the best cars I’ve ever owned and that includes my last car, an Aston Martin DB9. The Aston was great, but the R1S is just so much fun and a lot more practical for a daily driver. The 7,000 lb Rivian is also faster than the DB9. The Rivian is my first EV and after two years of use, I will never go back to an ICE vehicle. Last year we traded in my wife’s car for a BMW i7, also an EV. She also sees no ICE in her future.

EVs are quiet, fast, and effortless to own. You’ll never stop in a gas station again, never replace a fan belt or engine air filter, never get a smog check, never refill a radiator, change the oil, service a differential or transmission, no spark plugs. You can power your refrigerator off of it during a power outage and hotels fill your tank with electrons for free when you travel. That never, ever happened with an ICE car. I’m a big fan.
