Re: maybe the technology and infrastructure is already in place to make it practical. As far as charging and range is concerned, yes we have arrived. Particularly if you can charge at home for free off of that Powerwall. That’s just great! But, as you note, EV technology is rapidly advancing. I leased my wife’s i7 for that reason. Unfortunately there were no lease options when I bought the Rivian. I plan to sell it when the warranty expires. Leasing is the way to go for now.
