It is but its a big place, most snowbirds are staying away, I've seen some Florida YouTubers say its dead in some parts, Florida must still have domestic tourists, this from a search I just did

n 2025, Florida's tourism faced significant challenges, experiencing a decline in visitor numbers for eleven consecutive months due to economic uncertainties and reduced travel demand. Despite this, the state still attracted a record 34.4 million visitors in the second quarter, primarily from domestic travelers, while Canadian tourism saw a notable drop.

Something I saw mentioned before, Canadian snowbirds spent a lot of money in Florida, way more than short term tourists. It will be interesting to see what happens in 2026
