Rhet, Thanks. I will try to see if I can get ISDN. My ISP is not AOL. I use the AOL address for some email, but access AOL through my ISP. I have a tendency to bog down my Macs with a lot of stuff that seems to slow them down badly -- more than most. As a result I need to get as much speed as I can from ALL sources. For me, the processor speed matters. I do not use Virtual memory. I have 114MB real RAM and use Connectix's RAM Doubler to triple that. I don't assign 122MB to Virtual PC; I must not have been clear. I do use VirtualPC on this PB, and find it much too slow to use for realtime quotes. The fast graphics card is a very good tip. I will add that to the configuration of the next computer I buy. I'm having a problem with the PB now, and it just came back from repair for a similar problem. I wanted to buy another machine to use because I have to keep sending this one away for repair. Apple turns the machine around on the same day it gets it, but it's still three or four days down for me. I send it on Saturday, they receive it on Monday, I get it back on Tuesday. That's two trading days down and four using days down. I need a fast machine to use while this one is away. If I have to spend a huge amount of money for a machine, I would like it to be more than a backup but also solve the outstanding problems.
