Bill, Going back to the fentanyl discussion, fentanyl is being deceptively compounded by dealers into prescription pills and recreational street drugs. One doesn't have to be an addict or actually choose to take a lethal dose of it. I've heard that argument before. It only hardens my stance against even recreational drug use or "mild" prescription drug abuse. It's just not wise to fill the void in one's soul with these substances, especially when said substances can easily be laced by untrustworthy people with literal poison. And yeah, I prefer harsher sentences against the dealers, the traffickers, and everyone else who wants to profit off of the drug trade. Even the Venezuelan "fishermen" know the risks, which is why Hegseth continues to operate in a "target rich environment." But it's really hard to stop the supply while demand remains under-addressed.
