I believe you only have thirty days from the time they appeared in the account, so don't wait too long or they will be forced deregister those accounts altogether as per regulations.

This morning the OBY shares formerly in my RSPs have been swapped out, but the ones from my TFSA, which are being deregistered, are still in progress.

You can probably speed up the process by asking to be connected to a trader at the beginning of the call. And to repeat, if you don't get it done within a month your ENTIRE TFSA and RSP accounts containing OBY will be be deregistered, meaning you will have to pay a lot of taxes.
