Re: [ Thoughts on $MELI?]

SQ: I used to own MELI in my Growth IRA but sold out earlier this year. I still think it's a good stock.

MELI – quality screener snapshot
  • Price: ~$2,000
  • Fwd EPS growth (3–5 yrs): ~31.6%
  • Revenue growth (3 yrs): ~43.2%
  • Free cash flow: ~$8.6B
  • FCF growth (3 yrs): ~118%
  • Profit margin (TTM): ~7.9%
  • Profit margin (MRQ): ~5.7%
  • Debt to capital: ~60%
  • PEG ratio: ~1.5
  • Total return (1-yr ann): ~14.5%
  • Total return (3-yr ann): ~32.5%
  • Total return (5-yr ann): ~2.7%
  • Total return (10-yr ann): ~33.3%
  • YTD price performance: ~15.5%
  • Dividend yield: —
  • % below 52-week high: 24.43%
  • % above 52-week low: 21.44%
  • % price vs 10-day SMA: -0.14%
  • % price vs 20-day SMA: -1.23%
  • % price vs 50-day SMA: -5.06%
  • % price vs 200-day SMA: -11.87%
  • P/E (TTM): 48.8
  • P/E (last year actual): 52.12
  • P/E (next year estimate): 32.5
  • P/E (this year estimate): 47.5
  • ROI (TTM): 14.88%
  • Institutional ownership change (last vs prior qtr): +3.68%

Looking at the MELI chart, price is attempting to reclaim the short EMAs, but the 10/20/50 stack is not yet fully aligned and price remains below the 200-day. This still looks like a repair/base rather than a confirmed uptrend.

I’m going to wait for stack alignment before re-entering.
