Firm Orders Should Materialize Soon!

Bill,

I would be surprised if additional announcements regarding orders are not made prior to the shareholders meeting on March 13, 1998. The Alcatel agreement has been in effect for some time. Product is being shipped to Alcatel Data Networks, which indicates that Alcatel has already won some contracts. "We expect to announce the shipments to Alcatel soon," confirms Mr. Bursk. "They haven't announced anything, so we can't yet."

Additionally, GTE is ramping up as announced in the following press release snip.

IRVING, Texas/STERLING, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1997--

Re: The $500k in shipments could sit in a warehouse for the next 12 months, for all anybody knows. In addition, FSCX's margins are probably a lot lower than the norm in this two-tier distribution operation.

Well, just call then and ask. I did and found out "it is not our intention to tie up $500,000 of inventory"

True what you say about the margins with C&L. At the same time, FSCX model is mostly direct. For example, sales to Nynex are direct. No middleman. Sales to Unisys are direct. No middleman. Fastcomm delivers their frads directly to Alcatel with the Alcatel quickfrad logo. No middleman. Hopefully, Fastcomm will become the Dell of the frad market. Who knows? Miracles have happened before. Meanwhile, I'll be sipping my Hope Cocktail.
